Through the North Texas Zero Emissions Vehicle (NTxZEV) Call for Projects (CFP), the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) is offering up to $58.6 million in rebate funding for the replacement of existing internal combustion engines (ICE) Class 6 and 7 vehicles with zero-emission vehicles (ZEV). This includes the installation of Level 2 or DC fast charging (DCFC) infrastructure as needed. To be eligible for replacement, vehicles eligible must operate primarily within, or frequently travel through, the 16-county (Collin, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Erath, Hood, Hunt, Johnson, Kaufman, Navarro, Palo Pinto, Parker, Rockwall, Somervell, Tarrant, and Wise) NCTCOG region. This is a competitive solicitation and applications are due by May 15, 2026.
