NY RG&E Electric Vehicle Charging Station Make-Ready Program
New York incentive
Rochester Gas & Electric (RG&E) customers in New York may qualify for financial incentives when installing Level 2 or Direct Current (DC) fast electric vehicle (EV) charging stations. These incentives help reduce infrastructure costs related to site preparation and connecting to the electric grid.
Eligible applicants can receive up to 100% coverage of both utility and customer-side installation costs for Level 2 or DC fast chargers located in designated Disadvantaged Communities (DACs) in New York.
For fleet operators outside of DACs, RG&E offers a Medium- and Heavy-Duty Make-Ready Pilot Program. This program provides:
Up to 90% of utility-side infrastructure costs
Up to 50% of customer-side costs
These incentives aim to support the development of EV charging capacity for medium- and heavy-duty vehicles.
